Jane Hardy is a third semester graduate student in the News and Documentary program at NYU. Born in Italy of an Italian mother and an American father she has been bi-lingual and bi-cultural ever since she can remember. She is fascinated by anything international, has traveled extensively, and has lived in four different countries in her 24 years. Jane would like to concentrate her reporting and documentary pieces on international news, specifically in developing countries in order to create global awareness. She hopes that her knowledge of five languages, and her international background can be of help to her in her journalistic aspirations.
